In April 2025, the Earthian Art Foundation, in collaboration with Tiny Tales Theatre Company and Atak Matak, hosted “Iblis 2.0”, a vibrant 5-day residential puppet making and storytelling workshop at a serene farm in Karjat, Maharashtra.
The program brought together 25 children aged 10–17 from both rural and urban areas, creating a joyful, imaginative space where stories came alive through puppetry, play, and shared creativity.
About the Workshop
- Formed small reading groups to explore storybooks and select narratives for performance.
- Engaged in interactive outdoor games to build trust, break barriers, and encourage teamwork.
- Learned traditional and modern forms of puppetry — stick, rod, and string puppets.
- Created unique handmade puppets guided by expert facilitators.
- Performed their stories using voice, movement, and puppetry before an audience of parents and peers.
The final performance was filled with pride, joy, and confidence — many children performed on stage for the first time.
