In January 2024, the Earthian Art Foundation hosted “Natak-Mati”, a groundbreaking 5-day residential workshop at our dedicated space in Palu village, Murbad, Thane. This innovative program brought together 15 participants of all ages, united by a passion for theater and a curiosity for sustainable design. By blending performing arts with mud architecture, “Natak-Mati” created a unique space for creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness.

About the Workshop

• Engaged in voice and physical exercises to hone theatrical expression.
• Learned the vibrant Chhou art form, a traditional masked dance-drama.
• Mastered cob mud wall making from scratch, using sustainable techniques.
• Painted stones to add artistic flair to their creations.
